Biographical information:
Born ca. 1870. Immigrated August 29, 1909. Family followed in 1911. Immigrated with Yossel Kaplan. Yossel went to Jakob Kaplan, Bronx, Lexington Ave.; Chaim went to Leib Kaplan, 68 Mulle(?) St. The Kaplan brothers were his brother-in-laws, so we guess that they are Alte's brothers. Yossel was from Novgorod.
