Biographical information:
Yuriy Tsirlin of Brooklyn, New York, emigrated from St. Petersburg, Russia with his family in 1991. Currently pursing a degree in Bio-Medical Studies, Yuriy is on the Dean's List. He has also received the Meritorious Service Award from Coney Island Hospital. In the past few years, Yuriy has volunteered at the Good Companion Senior Center of the Henry Street Settlement, CUNY Medical School Learning Resource Center and Coney Island Hospital. Yuriy plans to continue his education and become a doctor.
