Reportedly a very extensive line with family members in Belarus, Ukraine, Moscow, Israel, Canada, the U.S., and elsewhere.
Origins associated with Gomel and the small town of Kagarlyk.
In modern times family members in this line have used both the spelling Tsyrlin and Tsirlin. The Hebrew forms used in Israel are generally transcribed as Tzirlin. There are variations in Russian and Ukrainian spelling conventions as well.
