Inscribed in the 1911 business directory for the town of Gomel in the Gomel uyezd, Mogilev gubernia, as a wine merchant.
The name is transcribed from cyrillic and the "y" indicates that the short Russian i was used, but it seems some other transcriptions may transcribe this as an "i" anyway. We don't seem to have seen any Russian originals using the long Russian "i", so all the Tsirlins and Tsyrlins may have the same name.
