Born June 15, 1890, in Klibane. Moved to Horodok in 1895, address 3 Milikan. Began cheder in 1896. Worked as a singer. Bar mitzah'd at age 12 (as his father had died). Then started as a tailor's apprentice afterward. Immigrated to the U.S. Feb. 28, 1908.
