Biographical information:
Born in Zobin or Zorin, Minsk gubernia. Had smallpox as a child, and was "up in age" (older than Leibe) when she married Leibe. Born perhaps about 1855? Took up baking to supplement family income.
Mote Ofman, a tailor, had three children: Rive Mere, Zalman, Peshe (Pesya) Dore.
